Exhibition: Christoph Draeger

The exhibition, “Telling Stories,” featuring films by Christoph Draeger, opens on February 4 and runs until March 6.

“Storytelling came into politics for the first time under Ronald Reagan's presidency in the 1980s in appearance. Als Reaktion auf die unaufhaltsame Kommunikationsflut und Ausbreitung der Massenmedien entwickelte sich jenes innere Kontrollsystem, das auf Szenarien und zotige Anekdoten baute und bald an die Stelle sachlicher Argumentation in offiziellen Ansprachen trat. In response to the unstoppable tide of communication and the spread of mass media developed that internal control system, based on scenarios and built ribald anecdotes and soon took the place of argument in official speeches.”
